Hello, Owen Sound council candidates are invited to an informal discussion this Thursday, August 6, at 5:30 p.m. at: 254 8th Street East Owen Sound Retired OPP officer Steve Starr will be joining us for a practical discussion about policing costs, which calls genuinely require police involvement, and whether some lower-risk calls could be handled through the Neighbourhood Response Team or other civilian responders. This will also be an opportunity to ask questions, exchange ideas, and hear the perspectives of other candidates in an informal setting. No RSVP is required. Feel free to simply come by.
