Hi everyone,

I thought it might be nice to have an informal Owen Sound all-candidates social this Thursday, August 13, from 5:30–6:30 pm at 254 8th Street East.

The idea is simply to give candidates for Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and Council a chance to meet one another, make brief introductions, and have some informal conversation. No debate or formal agenda, just an opportunity to get to know the other people running and hopefully contribute to a friendly and constructive election.

There is no need to stay beyond 6:30, and anyone who can only drop in for part of the hour is welcome as well.

Hope to see some of you there.
